People often ask how my journey as an artist began. Like most journeys, it's taken a few unexpected turns — through classrooms, cockpits, and more than fifty years at the easel, with exhibitions, juried honors, and a workshop program that grew far beyond what I imagined along the way. Art has never simply been what I do; it has been who I am.
